Introduction

D6040 small diesel engine hammer mill is used for crushing various soft and medium hard ores and rocks, such as limestone, quartzite, glass, etc. It is powered by a 28HP diesel engine. It consumes about 5 liters of fuel per hour. Hammer crusher opening size is 400*600mm, and the suggested material input size is <80mm, or smaller in all directions. It has an 8-15 tons per hour capacity, it has an adjustable output size from 0-35mm max.(for reference, at the discharging gap setting of 5mm, you will get 8 tons per hour; whereas at the largest setting at 35mm, you will get 15 tons. The average capacity is about 10 tons per hour. (The specific output is affected by many factors, such as the hardness of the stone, the water content of the stone, the size of the feed, and the smoothness of the discharge)

The diesel hammer mill relies primarily on impact energy to crush materials. When a hammer crusher is working, the motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed, and the material evenly enters the crusher cavity. The high-speed rotating hammers impact, shear, and tear the material, causing it to be crushed. At the same time, the material's own gravity causes the material to rush from the high-speed rotating hammers to the baffles and screen bars in the frame. Materials larger than the screen size are retained on the screen plate and continue to be struck and ground by the hammers until they are crushed to the desired discharge size and finally discharged through the screen plate.
